She dove the Blue Hole in Belize.
She volunteers weekly as an Assistant Zookeeper at Edmonton Valley Zoo.
Has been bitten by a shark.
She sent a message in a bottle into the ocean off Campbell River on Vancouver Island and got a reply a month later.
Received an award for Highest Academic Achievement at Marvel College.
Completed the Zookeeping and Aquarium Technology Program.
Is a Certified PADI Scuba diver, lifeguard and swim instructor.
Worked as a Sea Lion Trainer at West Edmonton Mall.
Certified Reiki Master.
She enjoys running, swimming, yoga, meditation and a good game of golf.

Jen also works closely in the animal care/behavior field including exotic animals, has volunteered at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Edmonton, Squirrel Nannied (you'll have to ask her!), and at the Valley Zoo. Jen also has a passion for the ocean. She has her Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue Certified Scuba Diving and has worked as a Sea Lion trainer.She is a certified Swim Instructor and Lifeguard and has been a Licensed Hairstylist since 2007. Somehow she also finds time for her yoga and meditation practice! She recently fulfilled a lifelong dream with a 32 day tour of Central America where she visited 6 countries touring,diving and immersing herself in the Latin culture.
